RAM 1500 Towing Capacity and Performance

The 1500 has three engine configurations to choose from. The standard option is a V-6 that pairs with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, combining to make 305 horsepower. The most powerful of the bunch is the Hurricane twin-turbo inline six, which can be tuned to make either 420 or 540 horsepower. Regardless of which option you choose, you won't find a weak link. The most powerful 1500 can tow up to 11,580 lbs, supporting a payload of up to 2,300 lbs. It's also capable of running from 0 to 60 in 4.2 seconds.
